There are 2 main categories – household water treatment and drinking water treatment.

  • Vitopure S1 (Pre-Filter). Filter impurities such as soil, moss, and sand.
  • Vitopure S2 – (Central Water Filters). Remove iron, odor, chlorine, and color from water. It is commonly used for a single house.
  • Vitopure S3 – (Central Water Softeners) Helps to reduce water hardness.
  • Vitopure S4 Non-RO – (Household water purifier) Filter impurities and ensure tap water is cleaner.
  • Vitopure S4 RO – (Drinking Water Treatment) Filter germs, viruses, bacteria, and other impurities to ensure water is clean and suitable for drinking.
  • Vitopure S5 – (Central Filter) Remove iron odor, chlorine, and color from water. S5 is commonly used in one area, such as the kitchen, bathroom, etc.
  • Vitopure S6 – (Shower/Faucet Filters) Eliminate impurities and odors in water. It installed on faucets and showers.

All filters will certainly affect the produced water flow rate, but the effect is limited. A booster pump can always help unless the filter is blocked heavily by dirty particles then the flow rate will dramatically decrease. In this scenario, the filter needs to be changed.

Yes, regular maintenance is necessary for Viessmann filters to ensure optimal performance. The replacement period for filters also depends on the type of filter and the local water conditions. Here are some general guidelines:

  • Regular Cleaning: Filters usually need periodic cleaning. The frequency of cleaning will depend on the level of water impurities in your area. Consult the manufacturer's guidelines to determine how often you should clean the filter.
  • Filter Replacement: Viessmann water filters typically have a recommended replacement period. This can vary depending on the type of filter and water conditions. For example, pre-filters may need to be washed   more frequently than other filters. Check the manufacturer's instructions to find out the recommended replacement period.
  • Monitoring Water Quality: In addition to the recommended replacement schedule, it's important to monitor the quality of the water coming out of the filter. If you notice a decrease in water quality or other issues, you may need to replace the filter earlier.

Vitopure S2 should be installed after the Water Toren to ensure that the filtered water can be used immediately.

Installation assistance can be provided, but with an additional cost depending on the individual cases of the homes.

It depends on the quality of well water at the house. Our current product is designed for municipal pipe water, for well/ground water usage, the water quality must be analyzed first.
