Vitocal 060-A: Straightforward to install, efficient energy provision

Vitocal 060-A is straightforward to install, for example in a cellar, plant room, utility room, or garage. The use of energy from the air (recirculation air or outdoor air) is very efficient and, therefore, cost effective. The integral fan enables a high air flow rate. As a result, the Vitocal 060-A also achieves high performance values in outdoor air mode.

To ensure reliable operation in outdoor air mode, an additional heat source is required for reheating, e.g. the integral immersion heater for type T0E or an external heat generator for type T0S. For pure heat pump operation, the maximum DHW temperature is 62 °C, which guarantees high cleanliness levels of drinking water.

Vitocal 060-A can be operated at air temperatures of -5 °C to +35 °C. If air temperatures beyond these application limits occur, the heat pump is automatically switched off. There are two types:

Type T0E:

  • With dry immersion heater
  • For outdoor air and recirculation air mode
  • Cylinder capacity 178 l or 254 l

Type T0S:

  • With additional integral indirect coil (immersion heater available as an accessory)
  • For outdoor air and recirculation air mode
  • Cylinder capacity 251 l

The heat pump control unit of the Vitocal 060-A has a separate connection for economy tariff electricity. If the contact is active, the heat pump and, if applicable, the integral immersion heater are switched on for DHW heating.


Type T0E:

An immersion heater is factory-fitted in the Vitocal 060-A, type T0E. This version is specially designed for DHW heating without an additional external heat generator (mono mode operation).


Type T0S with solar collectors:

The integral smooth tube indirect coil enables the connection of flat-plate collectors up to an aperture area of 4.6 m2 or tube collectors up to an aperture area of 3 m2.


Type T0S with external heat generator:

An external heat generator can be connected to the Vitocal 060-A, type T0S. The external heat generator is hydraulically connected to the integral smooth tube indirect coil and can be activated via the switching contact of the heat pump control unit.
